Children develop accuracy and self-confidence as they learn and understand important concepts through matching and sorting, sequencing and measurement. Activities such as threading and lacing build up fine motor skills, enhances hand-eye coordination as it allows children to develop memory and concentration skills. Through play children also have the ability to develop the skill of predicting and solving problems as well as giving them the opportunity to analyse and stay focused on the task at hand.
