Evergreen acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the many Lands across Australia, particularly the Darug people for sharing their Land with our Centre. We extend that acknowledgement to Elders past and present and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today and those to come. We acknowledge the continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, in particular to the education of young children, and recognise First peoples’ existence since long before our centre’s story began.
